The Scholarship Committee encourages each of you to participate and attempt to earn all three scholarships.  Please write a one-page essay telling us about yourself and your plans, hopes, dreams, and goals.  Maybe you are extremely grateful for some event or person in your life and want to share that.  Consider this a letter of introduction which the interview committee will read prior to your Interview on Wed., June 18, 2008.  Your resume will further acquaint the Committee with your accomplishments and outside interests.  If you are uncertain if you will qualify for State Finals to be held in Klamath Falls, we highly recommend that you complete the application process and prepare for an interview in Klamath Falls, because you still may qualify to earn a scholarship. The Oregon Community Foundation will fund the Academic Scholarships and the money made at the auction will fund the Athletic Scholarships.  Each senior is requested to bring a scholarship auction item and help during the auction on Wednesday evening, June 18, 2008.  It is a fun night, so plan to bring your neighbors, friends, and relatives.  Remember to mail your essay, resume, and sealed transcript to me by the deadline on 5/1/08.  Call me with questions.

                                                                                                                        Sincerely,

                                                                                                                        Janet Tidwell
